The Wisconsin River flows between the banks in six of our seven communities, providing prime opportunities for the avid angler. The Eau Claire River and the Rib River merge with the Wisconsin River to form the uniquely shaped 1,918 acre Lake Wausau, home to many trophy fish, right in the heart of the Wausau Wisconsin area.
